Role & responsibilities

  • Assist the follow-up of files and business models related to financial innovation and new technologies
  • Assist and guide players active in in financial innovation and new technologies
  • Prepare and participate in meetings with actors active in financial innovation and new technologies
  • Follow up on and analyse developments related to financial innovation and new technologies, including regulations; centralise and document these developments
  • Formalise research in financial innovation and new technologies
  • Draft notes, analyses, reports and any other writings with an internal or external finality in financial innovation and new technologies (e.g. position papers, internal publications for educational purposes,….)
  • Draft regulatory texts in financial innovation and new technologies
  • Participate in national and /or international working groups in financial innovation and new technologies
  • Communicate and collaborate with as well as assist the different CSSF departments in financial innovation and new financial technologies


Please note that this position will require frequent business trips.


Your profile

  • High school or technical high school diploma (BAC/A-levels), with an university higher education diploma being an advantage
  • At least 5 years' professional experience in the above-mentioned fields
  • Good knowledge of financial innovation and new technologies
  • Perfect written and spoken command of French and English; fluency in German and/or Luxembourgish is a real asset
  • Interest in the subject
  • Good knowledge of modern means of communication
  • Very good oral communication and writing skills
  • Very good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Flexibility, creativity and sense of initiative
  • Ability to work independently while having a natural interest and willingness to exchange and share knowledge
  • Availability to take part in missions abroad


The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
