How did you become a HR manager?

w did you become an HR manager?I started my career as a technician in the Imprimerie Centrale in 1995 and then became a member of the HR department. After completing my work for the IC, Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg set me up in the HR sector in 2001. There, I dealt with determining wages, expat management, and also with all matters relating to legal questions. In 2013, I then transferred to the Losch Group, i.e. to Garage Losch & Cie, who is responsible for the administration. In 2016, I took over the HR management of the Group.

Which professional profiles are you looking for?

I must mention that the Losch Group has 920 employees that are divided into three divisions (Losch Services, Losch Import, and Losch Retail). We are looking for well-trained mechatronics, accounting experts, and digital managers. Qualifications range from the apprenticeship diploma to the master craftsman’s certificate. There are currently 25 vacancies, and our company is on course for constant growth.

What do you regard as the most important criteria for hiring applicants?

We are looking for people who are willing to learn and who are capable of adapting to change, that is, open-minded, flexible, responsive personalities. Applicants who are customer-orientated are very important to us.
