The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) is the representative body of the Luxembourg investment fund industry. In addition to investment funds and management companies, its membership comprises a variety of service providers such as banks, law firms, auditors, accountants, tax advisers, fund administrations, distributors, transfer agents and specialised software providers.
Luxembourg is Europe’s number one investment fund centre and the world’s leading hub for cross-border fund distribution. Assets under management in Luxembourg domiciled funds are over 4,100 billion euros.

                                                                                                 Head of Events & Sales

The Head of Events & Sales is overseeing all Events/Conferences & Sales (Sponsorships) related activities and manages the Events team.

The main duties of the Head of Events & Sales are the following:

  • Budget planning of all events/conferences
  • Review costs and service providers
  • Cost-benefit analysis of events
  • Monitor dash-board of event planning
  • Deliver accurate, timely and robust financial reports/forecasts
  • Design, implement and drive an event-related sales strategy
  • Organize, supervise and manage the ALFI Events Department staff
  • Attend roadshow and conference committees
  • Quality control of roadshow and conferences programs
  • Identify key areas for improvement in the events organization and sales process


Reporting Line:
Reports to the Deputy Director General and ALFI Management team
Direct Staff Reports:
Events team (6 people)


  • Education: University degree in marketing, economics or other relevant field
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Good knowledge of  the Luxembourg investment fund centre and its specificities
  • Fluent in English and French, German being an advantage
  • Excellent  organizational, communication and writing skills
  • Team player
